Stained Glass & Mosaic
This is one of the oldest ways of working with glass. In our stained glass classes, you will cut and grind pieces of cold sheet glass to fit inside a pattern. Then you'll learn the process of foiling and soldering pieces together.
In mosaic classes, you arrange small fragments of glass on a tile and then apply grout to keep all the pieces in place.
Stained Glass Seasonal Suncatcher
Age: 12 to Adult

In this fun class, you will choose from 1 of 4 seasonal themed designs. Designs include a mushroom, butterfly, peace symbol, and alien space ship. You will then choose a colorful pallet to customize your design. You will work with a artist to cut and foil your glass pieces, and then solder them together. This is a great first experience to see what stained glass is all about. Stained Glass Window
Age: 12 to Adult
Duration: 6 hour class
Experience Level Recommended: Beginner, no experience necessary

Cost: $130/person, 1 stained window 10" x 10"
Learn the basic techniques of working with stained glass and create one stained glass panel (approximate size 10”x10”). In this 6 hour class, students will learn the following steps in the stained glass process:
1. To cut glass safely and effectively;
2. Cut out your choice from patterns (supplied by the instructor);
3. Choose colors for your design with a wide variety of glass provided;
4. Learn to grind and fit your window to the pattern;
5. Learn to copper foil;
6. Learn to solder your window;
7. Completely frame the finished artwork.
At the conclusion of class, the student will have completed a stained glass window and have a basic understanding of what it takes to create a stained glass window.
Free Style Mosaic
Age: 10 to Adult
Duration: 3 hour class

Cost: $60/person, 1 mosaic tile
Students will learn the basics of glass mosaic while creating a mosaic of their own design. Our artists will work with you to design and adhere glass to your tile then help you with the grouting process. Wear close-toed shoes and clothes that may get dirty during the grouting process.

Free Style Mosaic

Cost: $50/person, 1 mosaic photo frame 4" x 6"
They say that a picture is worth a thousand words, but the memory of making your own mosaic picture frame is priceless! Create your own mosaic picture frame to commemorate a special moment. In this class, you will arrange and cut small pieces of glass tiles and other materials around a 4" x 6” photo frame (with kickstand or wall hanger), then glue the pieces in place and grout together. Your pieces will need to dry and your instructor will wipe the piece down for you so that the tiles can shine through once again.

Stained Glass 1: Intro to Stained Glass

This class introduces students to the art of stained glass. Students will work with an artist to select a manageable pattern and then select the colorful glass. Stained Glass 2: Advance Your Stained Glass Skill Set
Age: 14 to Adult
Duration: Meets 3 hours per evening x 4 evenings (12 hours total), Tuesdays, 6:00-9:00 pm, July 15, 22, 29, August 05

Experience Level Recommended: Completion of Stained Glass 1 or advanced knowledge/experience with stained glass
Cost: $350.00
Students with continue their stained glass education by building and refining the skills they learned in Stained Glass 1.
